La Honda Winery’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Post & Trellis Vineyards, manages over fifty private spectacular estate vineyards throughout the Santa Cruz Mountains. Each vineyard is sustainably farmed with a vigilant respect for nature. Every farming practice we employ is deliberate and intended to enrich the vineyard soil and the immediate environment. No heavy equipment ever enters our vineyards. Every vineyard is harvested by hand in small bins, and every lot is meticulously hand-sorted to assure mature, luscious, clean fruit.
Our vineyards revel in a magical landscape, with a blessed combination of climate and geology. These conditions yield fruit that is delicious, captivating, full of personality and best grown as nature intended.
In response to the urgency of the climate crisis, La Honda Winery is also proud to be Climate Neutral Certified, earning that standard by measuring and offsetting all of their 2020 carbon emissions and reducing future emissions.
“La Honda Winery and our other Climate Neutral Certified brands are leading the global shift to a net-zero economy by doing what all companies should be doing immediately: measuring, offsetting, and reducing their carbon emissions,” says Climate Neutral CEO, Austin Whitman.
